Individuals interested in serving as a volunteer, please read the following guidelines concerning our application process. Volunteers serving within ministries of Cross Word Christian Church must:
Be a faithful member, in good standing, for at least 6 months.
During the 6 months, complete the Discovery Classes: 1) Membership; and, 2) Spiritual Maturity. Certificates will be issued upon completion of classes.
Complete application (Click Here To Download), print and sign. Print, read and sign the background check consent form. Once both forms are complete, return them to the Church office, Monday – Friday from 9am – 4:30pm.
Once background check is complete (Click Here To Download Consent Form), you will be notified of the timing of the next volunteer orientation session. When you have completed the mandatory orientation, you will be scheduled for service within the Christian Education Department.

the churches eMinistry Laptop and aiding with this websites
content? Perhaps you
may enjoy working with lights, cameras, electronic
equipment in Audio/Video Production? Then use your gift and talent in the expanding Computer Related and Cross
Word Audio/Visual Ministries. Volunteers
will work in the Media Control Room and Sound Booth during
Sunday Services. This is a vital, growing and important part
of our church’s ministry. Interested members may contact
